FOREIGN INVESTORS HAVE INVESTED IN INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) warehouses and factories increase  well base on FDI inflows despite the impact of the epidemic.

Savills has just released a report on the industrial real estate M&A market in Vietnam after two Covid-19 outbreaks with a high level of interest from foreign investors.

Industrial products are still in strong motion. Typically, Australia's Logos Property Group has invested $ 350 millions in a logistics real estate joint venture to penetrate the Vietnamese market.

Another deal, the Asian warehouse giant - GLP is planning to cooprate with SEA Logistic Partners Vietnam, or the SLP group launching a $ 1.5 billion joint venture in Vietnam.

In addition, the company Mirae Asset Daewoo Co. and Naver Corporation of Korea invested $ 37 million in a warehouse in LogisValley logistics center in Bac Ninh.

In the manufacturing sector, electronics group Pegatron (Taiwan), a supplier of components to Apple, has invested more than $ 19 million in Hai Phong for the first period of a chain of expansion plans in Vietnam.

Also in the third quarter, Ha Nam caught the first highest FDI wave for processing and manufacturing with more than 447 million USD, followed by Hai Phong with 438 million USD. The largest production project in Henan has received an investment of up to 273 million USD from Wistron Corporation (Taiwan).
